Cultural evening with DEO

Yesterday, the Danish Cultural Institute organised an evening of Latvian culture for the Danish educational association on democracy in Europe, DEO. The event started with a tour of the historical wooden house Koka Riga followed by a traditional kokle concert and dinner. The night ended with a lecture on the Latvian culture and history by Simon Drewsen Holmberg, leader of the DCI in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, accompanied by a taste of the Latvian Black Balsam.
