Award Winning Danish/Latvian Jazz Band

Frank/Pashkevich won the “Zelta mikrofons 2017” (Golden Microphone 2017 – Latvian Music Records Award)

Tuesday evening (28.02.2017) at the “Dailes” theatre gathered musicians, producers, publishers and supporters of Latvian music to find out, who had made the most successful music tracks in 2016.
The five members;
Deniss Pashkevich, Christian Frank, Kenneth Dahl Knudsen, Lisbeth Diers and Aaron Parks won a prize for Best jazz and blues music album (Yours Faithfully).

The two musicians, Frank and Pashkevich coincidentally met each other in 2010 doing an art seminar in Copenhagen Denmark.  Luckily they kept in touch and have played together ever since on a long list of Danish and Baltic festivals.

In 2012 they released their debut-album “Outlook” and in 2014 they continued their collaboration with “Close”. Their latest album from 2016 is the award winning  “Yours Faithfully”, which also includes the star pianist Aaron Parks as guest pianist.
