Latvian Kokles in Umeå

VinterFolk is an event for young people between 12-25 years, who share an interest in Folkmusic. The 2017 event were held in Umeå and together with the RETHINK Folk Music-project, they organized amazing concerts and created a happy environment for the young participants. The RETHINK Folk Music-Project let European music schools and museums dig up and use their local folk music and let children and young people rethink it. As a part of the event Latvian Kokles attended and played a part in both the Allspel and the Rethink concert.
